For Florida homeowners with FPL, Duke Energy or TECO

You own your home. So why does the power company still decide what you pay?

With the Fixed Bill Plan, you swap a power bill that climbs every month for a steady, lower monthly payment. No upfront cost and no loan.

Sound familiar?

You worked hard for your home. But every month someone else sets the price.

You bought a home to stop paying someone else’s rent. Yet every month you get a bill you didn’t choose, don’t fully understand and that never goes down.

In summer the A/C never stops and the bill shoots up. How much will next month’s be? Nobody knows. Not even the power company.

You own your home, but your power bill isn’t yours.

Your bill, no fine print

What nobody explains about your bill.

You don’t just pay for the power you used. You also pay:

For being a customer

A fixed charge every month, no matter what you use.

Fuel

A charge that goes up and down with the market. You don’t decide it.

Storms

A charge for hurricanes and for protecting the grid.

Over 1,000 kWh

Past that line in a month, every kilowatt-hour costs more.

The more you use, the more they charge. With a family, in Florida, in summer.

The solution

Fixed Bill Plan: your home’s power, at a price you already know.

We install solar panels on your roof without you putting in a dollar. During the day your home uses the power it makes. The extra goes to the grid, and your utility gives it back at night, kilowatt for kilowatt. You pay a steady monthly payment, lower than your bill today.

  • Steady payment. You know what you pay every month.
  • No upfront cost. Equipment and installation are on us.
  • No new debt. It’s not a loan.
  • No batteries. At night you use the power your home made during the day.

How it works

Four steps. You only take the first one.

  1. Free review

A technician visits for 15 minutes and checks your roof, your electric panel and your bill.

  2. Your numbers, in writing

If your home qualifies, you see your new monthly payment. If it’s not a fit, we tell you.

  3. Installation

We handle everything, including the paperwork with your utility.

  4. Switch on

From that month on, your home makes its own power and you pay what you already knew.

Trust

We’re clear about who we are, and who we’re not.

We’re Sunshine Renewable Energy, a private Florida company with an office in Kissimmee. We’re not the government, we’re not FPL, Duke or TECO, and we will never ask for your bank details over the phone.

Who it’s for

Not every home qualifies, and we tell you up front.

The plan is for homeowners with FPL, Duke Energy or TECO. That’s why the review is free: so nobody wastes time, you or us.

  • If you rent: the plan is for the owner.
  • If your power comes from another utility, like KUA, OUC or Lakeland Electric.
  • If your roof has heavy shade or little space.
  • If your bill is so low the savings aren’t worth it.

Families who already did it

Your neighbors already took control.

Excellent quality, the process was smooth, and the customer service too. All this was possible thanks to Homar Velez, always there for any questions. I don’t regret my decision. Very happy customer.

Questions

What people ask us before the visit.

  • Is this a government program?

No. We’re a private company. The plan works through net metering, a Florida rule that requires FPL, Duke Energy and TECO to credit the extra power your home makes.

  • Do I have to pay anything?

There’s no upfront cost. You pay a steady monthly payment, and your utility only charges its minimum fee plus any extra power you use.

  • Will this put me in debt?

    No. It’s not a loan.

  • Are the panels free?

We don’t charge you for the equipment or the installation. You pay a monthly amount lower than your bill today. If someone tells you solar is “free,” be careful.

  • Who owns the panels?

The company does. So if something fails, we fix it.

  • What about at night, without batteries?

You don’t need them. The extra power your home makes during the day becomes a credit, and you use that credit at night.

  • What happens in a power outage or a hurricane?

Systems are installed to Florida wind codes and inspected by your city or county. When the power goes out, the panels shut off for safety and turn back on when it returns. We don’t sell batteries.

  • What happens at the visit?

It’s free. A technician reviews your home and your bill in 15 to 20 minutes and tells you if you qualify. You don’t sign anything unless you want to.

  • Is there still a federal solar tax credit in 2026?

For people who buy a system, it ended with 2025 installations. Be careful with anyone promising you 30% today.

  • What is net metering?

When your panels make more power than your home uses, the extra goes to the grid and your utility credits it on your bill. It’s a rule set by the Florida Public Service Commission.

  • Can my HOA stop me from going solar?

No. Florida law (section 163.04 of the Florida Statutes) doesn’t allow it. An HOA can only set some rules, like where on the roof the panels go.

  • Do you speak Spanish?

Sí, from start to finish. You can also read this site en español or message us on WhatsApp.
